NUMBER & SWAG BAG PICK UP.
NEW THIS YEAR: We will be holding a NUMBER PICK-UP PARTY on Friday, June 21st from 5-8pm. Come pick up your number, and have a beer and snacks, on us! Tory Row will be closed to the public during the number pick-up party for ultimate runner fun. Team members may pick up full team packets. Come early to get your choice of shirt sizes!
If you can't make the party, there WILL be race day number pick-up this year between 8:00-9:30am. Please arrive as early as possible, as we will be shutting down number pick-up promptly at 9:30am.
We'll do our best to accommodate all t-shirt size requests, but we recommend coming to the number pick-up party to get your preferred size.
We LOVE our volunteers! If you're interested in helping out during number pick-up or on race day, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or sign up on the registration page (there is a volunteer category under "Individual Registration"). All volunteers will receive an official race shirt and entrance into the post-race party. Come cheer on your friends and earn beer in the process!

2012 TR5K WINNERS
Founded in 2007, Title IX Girls Running Club is a community based, non-profit running club for preteen and adolescent girls. The organization's principal running program uses the principles of running to strengthen the connection among mental, social and physical health in girls' ages 9-15. The consciousness raising and skill acquisition learned at TIXGRC becomes their foundation for lifelong well-being and success. This approach creates a safe, inclusive, and individually meaningful experience for each girl.
The founder, Stacy Rodriguez-Rennard, is a licensed mental health counselor who saw a need for accessible, affordable, community based, age- and gender appropriate, mental-health services and programs for girls. From her many years as the adolescent clinician with the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, she provided direct service to adolescents and families recovering from sexual violence. This experience provided her with intimate knowledge of how access and affordability are the two biggest hurdles facing families in the search for quality programs that teach girls about their own health and development. As an avid marathoner, Stacy saw an opportunity to use running to build a creative and innovative approach to meet the needs of girls and their families in Cambridge and surrounding communities.
